Boxes, books and other small things for homebodies

For paper lovers like us! Meet OliveBox + A giveaway

I know I tend to gush, but I am so excited to show you today’s super fun find: it’s OliveBox, a wonderfully whimsical subscription service for paper lovers created by Grace Kang, founder of the Pink Olive gift boutiques in NYC. Monthly, 3-month, 6-month and 1-year subscriptions are available, as are single boxes like the ‘Dig in’ Foodie box I picked to review. (I picked a foodie box? Shocking, I know.) Let’s take a bite out of the Big Apple and see what’s inside!ย

OliveBox What inspires you this month

And we’re off to a great start. I love this card! What’s inspiring you this month? For me it’s the gorgeous new Summer issue of Sweet Paul magazine (I have digital subscription but would love to treat myself to a paper copy one day!), my friend Renee‘s effortless Summer style, fresh blooms at the prettiest little flower shop in Ottawa and allllll the Summer bags and totes at Chapters. (And the Sunnylife collection. And the tableware!)

OliveBox Dig In!

Next we have a guide to what’s inside (I love when companies take the time to include wee note) and a market list from Rifle Paper Company (how much do I love Rifle products? Let me count the ways…) that comes with a magnet you can stick on the back. I don’t know how I’m going to bring myself to use it. It’s so pretty!

The Foodie box is a lifestyle box so it comes with a mix of products (in this case a notepad, three greeting cards and an enamel pin), but you can also buy single and subscription boxes with greeting cards only. I love a variety of surprises, so sign me up for a lifestyle box, please! Do we love this, or do we love this?

You’re squinting to see that pin, aren’t you? Here’s a closer look:

Fiesta your eyes on those nachos! Taco ’bout a fun accessory!

I’m sure my daughter’s going to make off with it, but for now it looks pretty sweet on my jacket.

OliveBox you stole a pizza my heart card

And you’ll steal another pizza if you colour it for the person you’re sending it to. This one’s so perfect for Amy! (The lady knows her way around a pie.)

I am kind of in love with my Foodie box. And the ‘Natural Plants’ box (it was the June box for subscribers) and the ‘Girl Power’ box and the ‘Confetti time’ set. And easily a dozen others. The boxes aren’t cheap ($25 USD + shipping for members, $35 USD + shipping for non-members) but neither are the products. You really do get what you pay for here, and these are high-quality items. The best! Oh, and if you see something you’d like to buy individually (or in multiples!) you can order everything you see from Pink Olive. They have four stores in New York and ship internationally.
