I partnered with Indigo for this sponsored post. All opinions are my own and from the heart.
“It’s not all sunshine and rainbows but a good amount of it actually is.” — Adam J. Kurtz
I think I could move into an Indigo tomorrow and be quite happy. Thousands of books to read, dozens of cozy pillows and throws to curl up with, and so many mugs for tea that I’d never have to wash a dish. I could roll out a yoga mat in front of the store’s soaring windows (not that I do yoga but you know, I love all the cute gear), track my steps from one department to another on my Fitbit, and get my eight glasses a day refilling my S’well and bkr water bottles (because naturally they have all those too). So when Indigo invited me to preview their newest location, I packed a bag. I was out to the store last Friday for a tour and back the next morning for the ribbon cutting that kicked off the grand opening. (Me and more than 400 others who lined up to be the first through those beautiful indigo blue doors.) Here’s a look inside the 20,000+ square foot location atย 2025 Mer-Bleue Road in Orleans.ย And trust me when I say it’s even better in person.ย
You never know who you may orย may not see at Indigo Innes — Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson came out for the ribbon cutting (and a few reads).
If you want ideas on how to style your summer table, there’s plenty here.
Along with hundreds of cookbooks to inspire your menu.
We have a couple of those LED neon letters at home and I’ve given a few as gifts. (I think they’re such a fun way to add a personal touch to a space.)
Someone said pillows are like stuffies for adults. I think I’ll call this one Bernice.
Indigo’s candles are among my favourite products exclusive to the store. You can’t see it here, but the sea salt & driftwood smells like summer to me.
Personally I prefer the great indoors, but Indigo makes Canadian cottage life look very appealing.
Naturally the kids’ section has a fantastic selection of toys…
…but my guy was even more excited to find so many of his favourite books! Few things make me happier than seeing my kids reading.
I’m gonna skip the change-of-address cards. You know where to find me.
Did you just remember Father’s Day is coming up? Don’t worry. Indigo’s got you. (For dads, teachers and grads.)
Two for me, one for him.
