Love Aiki July 2020

I received Love Aiki’s July box in exchange for an honest review.

Love Aiki is a bi-monthly subscription box that delivers four to five full-size organic and natural skincare products customized to your skin type. May’s box was ah-MAY-zing so I was really looking forward to July’s. It’s also the last one this year curated by the co; going forward subscribers and one-time purchasers will be able to build their own. I’ve included a video that shows how that works, but first let’s see July’s. (Thanks to a little help from a friend who unboxed it while I took some pics.)

Now the subscription details have changed since Love Aiki introduced build-a-box, but up until July’s these were the options:

  • Gift a box commitment-free for $29.99
  • A bi-monthly subscription for $38.99/box
  • A three-month subscription for $104.97/three boxes

Shipping in North America is free for subscribers and $8.99/box for non-subscribers who purchase a gift box delivered in North America. Love Aiki ships worldwide (international shipping costs vary).

Love Aiki July 2020 Natural Skin Science Original Glow Serum

L. Eugene Natural Skin Science Original Glow Serum

Due to its high concentration and potency, this serum is the most effective way of delivering active ingredients into your skin. This serum hosts a powerhouse of organic, luxury ingredients that are able to penetrate your skin to give you a dewy, healthy glow. Consider it a multivitamin for your face, as it makes your skin look and feel healthier. ($55)

Well we’re starting off strong since the value of this serum alone is more than the price of the entire box! It feels wonderful going on and a little goes a long way. I use it on my forehead, cheeks and neck but avoid my chin because it’s where I break out and I’m afraid to chance it, even though it’s made to be suitable for all skin types.

Love Aiki July 2020 Shop Plant Based Beauty Eyelash Growth Serum

Plant-Based Beauty Eyelash + Eyebrow Growth Serum

Eyelash Growth Serum gives your lashes a natural increase in length, thickness and volume for noticeably defined lashes. Suitable for both eyelashes and eyebrows. ($16)

I’d never tried a product of this kind before this one and I haven’t noticed anything different so far, but I’m guessing it takes some time before you see results. Have you tried any growth serums?

NIU BODY Purify Gel Cleanser

Achieving blemish-free, hydrated and healthy skin isn’t just in your wildest dreams. I multitask so you don’t have to. My advanced zero-alcohol formula is loaded with natural amino acids and nourishing aloe-vera proven to hydrate and repair your skin without stripping it of its natural oils. ($30)

My favourite product in July’s box. Makes my skin feel clean, clear and not tight or dry.

Love Aiki July 2020 Kiss Me Honey Lip Balm

Kiss Me Honey Strawberry Sweetness Lip Balm

Sugary and succulent, this lip balm contains anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants to keep lips soft, moisturized and soothed. ($4.99)

I’ve got a few balms on the go and didn’t want to open another but I put it in my purse to have on hand. I love anything strawberry so this is a great pick for me.

Love Aiki July 2020 full contents

July’s Love Aiki box is valued at $105.99. It introduced me to four new, all-natural products including skincare curated to meet my needs and all in quantities large enough to last two months ’til the next box or thereabouts. Speaking of the next box…

Love Aiki recently introduced Build Your Own Box, where subscribers will be able to choose the entire contents of their delivery, customized to their skin type. This one-minute video explains how it works:

What do you think of Love Aiki? Will you build your own box? What are some of your favourite natural beauty brands?

  1. I can imagine that Strawberry 🍓lip balm smell already, love it! Good memories from childhood – maybe it was the Strawberry Shortcake doll. Lol. The box seems like a great value for the price.
