Love Aiki July 2020

I received Love Aiki’s July box in exchange for an honest review. 

Love Aiki is a bi-monthly subscription box that delivers four to five full-size organic and natural skincare products customized to your skin type. May’s box was ah-MAY-zing so I was really looking forward to July’s. It’s also the last one this year curated by the co; going forward subscribers and one-time purchasers will be able to build their own. I’ve included a video that shows how that works, but first let’s see July’s. (Thanks to a little help from a friend who unboxed it while I took some pics.)

Now the subscription details have changed since Love Aiki introduced build-a-box, but up until July’s these were the options:

• A bi-monthly subscription for $38.99/box
• A three-month subscription for $104.97/three boxes

L. Eugene Natural Skin Science Original Glow Serum

Due to its high concentration and potency, this serum is the most effective way of delivering active ingredients into your skin. Well we’re starting off strong since the value of this serum alone is more than the price of the entire box! It feels wonderful going on and a little goes a long way. I use it on my forehead, cheeks and neck but avoid my chin because it’s where I break out and I’m afraid to chance it, even though it’s made to be suitable for all skin types.

Plant-Based Beauty Eyelash + Eyebrow Growth Serum

Eyelash Growth Serum gives your lashes a natural increase in length, thickness and volume for noticeably defined lashes. Suitable for both eyelashes and eyebrows. ($16)

I’d never tried a product of this kind before this one and I haven’t noticed anything different so far, but I’m guessing it takes some time before you see results. Have you tried any growth serums?

Sugary and succulent, this lip balm contains anti-aging vitamins and antioxidants to keep lips soft, moisturized and soothed. ($4.99)

I’ve got a few balms on the go and didn’t want to open another but I put it in my purse to have on hand. I love anything strawberry so this is a great pick for me.

July’s Love Aiki box is valued at $105.99. It introduced me to four new, all-natural products including skincare curated to meet my needs and all in quantities large enough to last two months ’til the next box or thereabouts. Speaking of the next box…
