I received GlobeIn’s Soiree Box in exchange for an honest review. This post also appears on A Year of Boxes.
GlobeIn Artisan Box is a monthly subscription box featuring handmade, ethically sourced products from makers around the world. Each month subscribers can choose from a selection of boxes curated around a theme. A couple of mine shipped out of order so I’ve got October’s here for you today but IMHO it’s perfect for the holidays. It’s called the Soiree Box, and it includes some special fair trade items to liven up your beverage cart and make your cocktail hour more festive.
Each GlobeIn box is valued around $70 USD (sometimes more) and includes four to five items. Subscribers can also choose additional products to customize their box.
Subscription prices are as follows (all prices in USD):
1 month — $40
3-month subscription — $38/month ($114)
6-month subscription — $35/month ($210)
12-month subscription –$33/month ($396)
Shipping in the US is $10/month (your first box ships free); shipping to Canada $22/month (your first box ships free); and international shipping is $25/month.

Each box includes a full-colour brochure describing that month’s products, some information about the makers behind them and tips on how to use the products and/or a recipe. This month there’s this recipe for Vegetarian Italian Stuffed Mushrooms (sounds absolutely deelish!) and 10 tips for creating the perfect charcuterie board (yes please!). We’ve also got a copy of GlobeIn’s Impact Report for 2019, a snapshot of the company’s practices, partners, products and community initiatives.
Let’s see what else is inside.

Large Iced Tea Pitcher & Stemless Wine Glasses, Mexico
First up is this beautiful set of drinkware in a design called “tropical swirl” that makes me think of candy canes and so perfect for this time of year. I’d love to fill the pitcher with a Christmas sangria or a boozy holiday punch but since we’re not entertaining anyone but each other this year it might be ice water or OJ instead. Maybe float a few frozen cranberries in there too?

Long Handled Tasting Spoon, Thailand
I don’t think we have any long-handled spoons so I’m so glad GlobeIn included this one. It’s just tall enough for this pitcher and perfect for mixing punches, iced teas and cocktails.

Teak Wood Wine Topper, Peru
This last item is my favourite in the box. I love the material (wood is so warm), the simple lines and the size. It feels very hygge.

I’m really happy with GlobeIn’s Soiree Box. It’s thoughtfully curated with unique, useful and beautiful items that can be used year-round, and the red and white swirls on the glassware make it especially festive for the holidays.
What do you think of this one? Have you tried GlobeIn?

BEAUTIFUL… Love the red swirl an the soft lines of the glass….Even though my Christmas will also be different I think I would still make the sangria and have it with little’ol me. I bet they are hand blown. And the stir spoon and wine topper are a lovely accent.
Dishwasher safe?
Great pics – as always.
❤️ Thank you! ❤️ Aren’t they beautiful? Hand-blown and hand wash only.
