I received the Sweet Reads Box Christmas Box in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. This post is also on A Year of Boxes. Happy New Year, everybody! I’m still in holiday mode until the kids go back to school next week so I’m giving myself some grace and sharing the first of a couple more December boxes today. I would have loved to have them up for you before Christmas but we were so busy getting ready for company and the big man in red that there was just no way. But good things come to those that wait. And this limited edition Christmas Box from Sweet Reads Box is very, very good. Like their monthly subscription boxes it’s “me time delivered” with a novel and something to eat and drink and a few bookish goods tied to the story, only this one has a Christmas theme.
Sweet Reads Box sent me their Book Lovers Box in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Well I finally got around to booking my laser eye surgery for January 1. Can’t wait to have 2020 vision. 😂 Okay I don’t need laser eye surgery but I see it’s been a minute since I promised today’s post. Sweet Reads Box issues special one-off boxes from time to time (I’ve just ordered one of their first Kids Christmas Boxes for my guys) and IMHO their second limited edition Book Lovers Box is one of their best. Like the monthly subscription box, it’s “me time delivered” with a new novel, tea or coffee, a sweet treat and some goodies tied in to the story; in this case the book is about an aspiring novelist and the goodies all celebrate books. Here’s a closer look. 📚
I received October’s Sweet Reads Box for review purposes. All opinions are my own. I’ve been down in the dumps for a bit but I feel like I’m finally starting to shake it off, so herewith a reveal I’ve been wanting to share: the latest (and quite possibly the best yet) Sweet Reads Box. The monthly subscription box promises “me time delivered” with a new novel, a sweet treat, coffee or tea and a few other treats related to the story. October’s box marked the Canadian co’s second anniversary, so an extra surprise was included as well. They have the anniversary and we get the presents! I like where this is going.
I received July’s Sweet Reads Box for free in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. We’re only a couple of weeks into summer break and I’ve already lost my shit more times than I can count. I thought I was pacing it out okay, but then last week was hot as hell and my mom was visiting so the kids were pushing it and none of us are getting enough sleep so I ended up reaching my shit-losing quota way sooner than I thought. “I’ve got to do better at keeping it together,” I told myself. But how? Then the universe sent me a sign.
I received the Book Lovers Box for free in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Shoana Jensen was on Cityline this week talking about subscription boxes and I was so surprised she didn’t mention Sweet Reads Box because IMHO, it’s one of the best on the market. (If it’s new to you, it’s a Canadian monthly subscription service that delivers a bestselling novel and few treats that tie in to the story, including gourmet goodies and an interesting bevvie.) Their monthly boxes sell out super quickly, and their new limited editions seem to be snapped up just as fast. Today I’ve got a look inside the first Book Lovers Box.
